After three decades of dedicated service, Wienkamp leaves behind a legacy of significant international growth and expansion of Messe Düsseldorf's world-leading trade fairs.
Wienkamp's Transformative Impact on Messe Düsseldorf
Since joining Messe Düsseldorf in 1993, Wienkamp has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and global reach. He held various leadership positions, including Divisional Manager for International Trade Shows and ultimately Operative Managing Director. Under his guidance, Messe Düsseldorf's portfolio of prestigious trade fairs, including K (plastics and rubber), MEDICA (medical technologies), ProWein (wine and spirits), and drupa (print technologies), flourished, attracting global participation and solidifying their positions as industry benchmarks.

A Seamless Transition: Marius Berlemann Takes the Reins
Effective August 1st, Marius Berlemann will assume the role of Operative Managing Director, bringing over 13 years of experience within Messe Düsseldorf to the position. Most recently, Berlemann served as General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai and Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf China, demonstrating his expertise in international markets and his commitment to fostering global collaboration.
