Franklin, WI – September 23, 2026 -- Modine (NYSE: MOD) is hiring up to 300 workers at its Franklin, Wisconsin facility to scale production of Airedale data center cooling systems, with production assembler roles starting at $23 per hour.
Modine hosts walk-in hiring fair to staff first and second shifts
The thermal management company will run a hiring fair on Thursday, September 24, from 4-7 p.m. at its 3303 W. Oakwood Road facility in Franklin. HR staff will be on-site to conduct on-the-spot interviews, with both pre-registration and walk-ins accepted. Second-shift workers receive an additional $1-per-hour premium, and new hires qualify for health insurance and benefits starting on their first day.
153,000-square-foot Franklin plant opened in September 2025 to meet data center demand
Modine opened the Franklin facility a year ago specifically to manufacture Airedale-branded cooling systems for U.S. data centers. Karen Sutherland, Vice President of Human Resources for Data Centers, Americas at Modine, said the 2025 expansion was driven by customer demand for advanced thermal management solutions, and the company now needs a larger workforce to keep pace. Most entry-level positions require no prior manufacturing experience, with on-the-job training provided.
Franklin hiring push is part of a wider U.S. manufacturing investment announced in July 2025
The expansion extends beyond Wisconsin: Modine's July 2025 investment plan also covers increased Airedale production capacity at facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas; Grenada, Mississippi; and Jefferson City, Missouri. Modine said it will continue hiring in Franklin over the coming months until all open roles are filled, backed by a billboard advertising campaign across the Milwaukee area.
