Scottsdale, Ariz. – October 02, 2026 -- Moon Valley Nurseries now operates more than 50 retail locations across seven states, having added eight new nurseries in the past two years, and has launched a dedicated Tree Care division offering trimming, fertilization, pest diagnosis and removal services.
Moon Valley Nurseries Surpasses 50 Locations Across Seven States
The company, which manages more than 1,800 acres of farmland, operates retail nurseries across Arizona, California, Georgia, Nevada, Florida, Tennessee and Texas. Founded in Phoenix in 1995, it describes itself as the largest fully-integrated nursery and box tree grower in the United States.
Company Launches Dedicated Tree Care Division
The new unit provides professional trimming and pruning, tree and stump removal, proprietary fertilizer treatments, pest inspection and disease diagnosis, recurring maintenance plans, and emergency storm response. CEO Brian Flood said clients have long asked the company to maintain trees it did not originally plant, prompting the expansion. "We don't just plant a tree and walk away," Flood said. "We grow the trees, plant them and stick around to help care for them long after installation."
Tree Care Rolls Out Across Arizona, Nevada, California and Texas Markets
Services are now active in the Greater Phoenix Area, Las Vegas Valley, San Diego, Orange County, Inland Empire, Greater Los Angeles, Greater Sacramento, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth. The division draws on more than 30 years of the company's in-house tree-growing operations, giving its certified arborists direct knowledge of nutrition and long-term tree health rather than relying on third-party stock.
Recent Nursery Openings Span Four States
New locations include a 5.28-acre site in Moorpark, California, the firm's 15th Southern California nursery; a 7.1-acre nursery in Frisco, Texas, its sixth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; a 5.2-acre site in San Antonio, its second there; a 5.3-acre nursery in Roseville, California; a 9-acre site in Naples, Florida; a location in The Villages, Florida; and nurseries in Hendersonville and Knoxville, Tennessee, the company's second and third Tennessee sites.
