San Francisco – September 24, 2026 -- Motorq and Subaru of America have partnered to stream native vehicle telematics directly into fleet management software, eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware starting with model year 2027 vehicles.
Subaru opens embedded vehicle data to U.S. fleet operators for the first time
The integration marks the first instance of Subaru making embedded vehicle data directly accessible to fleet operators in the United States. It also expands Motorq's OEM integration footprint to 13 global automakers and more than 25 brands.
Direct integration replaces costly aftermarket devices and consumer apps
Fleet operators previously relied on aftermarket hardware or the consumer-focused MySubaru app to access vehicle data, both of which carry procurement, installation, and management costs, or lack enterprise-grade functionality. Under the new agreement, Subaru's Connected Services platform streams vehicle telemetry directly to Motorq, allowing fleet administrators to manage driver consent centrally and streamline enrollment.
Motorq's Fuse AI converts diagnostic signals into maintenance recommendations
Motorq will ingest, unify, and normalize signals including vehicle location, odometer readings, and verified diagnostic trouble codes sourced from Subaru's embedded sensors. Fuse AI, Motorq's analytics engine, then processes these signals to flag maintenance risks early and identify cost-saving opportunities for fleet managers.
