Paris – September 23, 2026 -- Murex has achieved certification to deploy its MX.3 capital markets platform on Google Cloud, giving financial institutions a new cloud option for trading, risk and treasury workloads.
Murex clients begin testing MX.3 on Google Cloud infrastructure
Multiple Murex clients have already started exploring MX.3 deployment on Google Cloud, according to the companies, signaling demand for secure, resilient cloud transformation in capital markets. MX.3 serves more than 60,000 daily users across 65 countries, spanning trading, treasury, risk, post-trade operations and investment management for private and public assets.
Partnership targets data-intensive risk and treasury calculations
The collaboration is designed to deliver cloud-scale performance for mission-critical operations, including market risk, counterparty risk and intraday analytics. Google Cloud's secure-by-design infrastructure will support Murex clients in protecting sensitive data and critical workloads at scale, while automation capabilities aim to simplify deployment and streamline operations across MX.3 environments.
Executives frame move as response to multi-cloud demand
Jean-Gabriel Eddé, an Executive Committee member at Murex, said clients increasingly want flexibility to choose the cloud environment that best fits their business, regulatory and operational objectives. Georgina Bulkeley, Global Financial Services Industries Lead at Google Cloud, said the tie-up combines Google's AI, data analytics and cloud infrastructure with one of the market's most comprehensive capital markets platforms.
The certification adds to Murex's existing on-premises and managed cloud service options, positioning the vendor to support financial institutions pursuing multi-cloud strategies aligned with operational resilience and regulatory requirements.
