Jupiter, Florida – September 19, 2026 -- Myosin Therapeutics, Inc. has been selected as one of just 30 companies for the National Cancer Institute's 2026–2027 Investor Initiatives Showcase, a distinction drawn from NCI's full portfolio of funded companies following a competitive review by more than 70 third-party investors and strategic partners.
NCI selects Myosin from a competitive field of oncology innovators
The 2026–2027 cohort spans biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health, covering first-in-class therapeutics, cell and immune therapies, radioligand therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, RNA medicines, precision drug delivery, AI-enabled cancer technologies, liquid biopsy and multi-omics platforms. Myosin enters this group with a mechanics-based approach that targets molecular nanomotors underlying cancer cell growth, invasion and survival.
Lead asset MT-125 carries FDA Fast Track and Orphan Drug status
Myosin's lead clinical-stage program, MT-125, is a first-in-class, brain-penetrant dual non-muscle myosin inhibitor currently in the NCI-supported Phase 1/2 STAR-GBM trial. The compound holds FDA Fast Track designation for glioblastoma and Orphan Drug designation for malignant gliomas, positioning glioblastoma as a capital-efficient entry point into a broader pan-cancer platform addressing both solid and hematologic malignancies.
Pipeline extends beyond oncology into CNS disorders
Beyond MT-125, Myosin's molecular nanomotor platform extends into central nervous system disorders through MT-110, an NIH-supported, IND-stage NMIIB-selective CNS asset.
"We are honored to be selected by NCI for the Investor Initiatives Showcase," said Courtney Miller, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Myosin Therapeutics. "NCI has been an important partner throughout the development of MT-125 and their continued support of our differentiated approach to oncology comes at an exciting point for our clinical program."
Showcase inclusion opens doors to investors and strategic partners
Selection into the Showcase gives Myosin opportunities to present at industry events attended by investors and strategic partners, while NCI will feature the company in its 2026–2027 Showcase Companies Book. The recognition builds on NCI's existing non-dilutive support of the MT-125 program.
