Oak Brook, Ill. – September 21, 2026 -- David Glawe will step down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) in October, concluding a six-year tenure leading the insurance industry's anti-fraud nonprofit.
Board Chairman Confirms Departure and Thanks Glawe for Six Years of Service
Nick Seminara, Chairman of the NICB Board of Governors, confirmed the departure and credited Glawe's contributions to the organization's mission over the past six years.
Glawe Cites Collaboration With Insurers, Law Enforcement as Key Achievement
Glawe said the work brought together the insurance industry, law enforcement, and partners to fight insurance fraud and crime while protecting the public.
NICB to Manage Orderly Transition Before Naming Successor
Glawe will work with the Board and NICB leadership team through his departure to support an orderly handover. The Board has not yet announced its leadership transition plans, stating it will do so at the appropriate time.
NICB is supported by more than 1,200 property and casualty insurance companies and self-insured organizations nationwide.
