London – September 22, 2026 -- Nice has formalized its entry into the European hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) market, rolling out CE-certified products from its HySecurity division after previously supplying the region only on a project-by-project basis.
Nice Establishes Structured European Route to Market for HySecurity
HySecurity, acquired by Nice in 2016, brings more than 60 years of expertise in hydraulic gate operators and crash-rated barriers for airports, government facilities and data centres. Nice will now support the division with local commercial and technical teams alongside its existing network of installers and system integrators, moving away from ad hoc project sales.
Three CE-Certified Products Debut at International Security Expo 2026
At Booth C90 during International Security Expo 2026, held at Olympia London on September 29-30, Nice will showcase three newly CE-certified HVM solutions: the StrongArm M30/M50 crash-rated barrier arm, the SlideDriver II hydraulic slide gate operator, and the HydraSwing heavy-duty hydraulic swing gate operator. All three integrate with Nice's access, control and connectivity ecosystem. The company will also present its Titan 6024HS high-speed swing gate operator with MC824H control unit, the M5 Bar road barrier and the Tub4000 underground operator.
EU and UK Regulation Drives Demand for Critical Infrastructure Protection
The expansion follows regulatory tightening across Europe. The European Commission's proposed Public Procurement Act emphasizes resilience and security of supply in strategic sectors, while the CER and NIS2 directives have reinforced infrastructure resilience requirements. In the UK, data centres have been designated Critical National Infrastructure and are being brought under a stronger statutory resilience framework, increasing demand for systems combining physical protection, controlled access and operational reliability at transport hubs, energy and water networks, logistics facilities and public spaces.
