San Carlos – October 12, 2026 -- Noah Medical will present published results showing 100% tool-in-lesion accuracy and diagnostic yield of 89.5% (strict) to 94.7% (intermediate) for its Galaxy System robotic bronchoscopy platform at AABIP 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina, August 22-24.
Published data show 100% navigation to small peripheral lesions
Results from Saghaie et al. (2024) report 100% successful navigation to small lesions in the lung periphery. The Galaxy System combines proprietary integrated tomosynthesis (TiLT+ Technology) with augmented fluoroscopy and tool-in-lesion confirmation.
Three physician-led sessions anchor Noah's program
Dr. Matthew Federbush of Northwell Health will review the system's safety and diagnostic yield data in a rapid e-poster session on August 22 at 1:00pm. Dr. Joseph Cicenia of the Cleveland Clinic Respiratory Institute will present his initial experience with the platform at 1:30pm the same day. Dr. Sean Callahan of Prisma Health will demonstrate how he uses the system to overcome CT-to-body divergence and confirm tool-in-lesion in an evening presentation hosted by Noah.
On Friday, August 23, a pulmonologist panel will hold a 12:30 lunch symposium titled "Solving for Diagnostic Confidence: Real-time Imaging and Tool-in-lesion Confirmation." The Galaxy System will also appear in multiple simulation sessions that day on optimizing yield in peripheral bronchoscopy.
Single-use scope and small footprint target broader adoption
The platform uses a disposable single-use bronchoscope with always-on vision and has a compact footprint, which Noah says opens it to more physicians and medical providers. Results from the company's FRONTIER study showed the system can be deployed rapidly after recommended training, including in areas with minimal robotic experience.
Noah will staff Booth #19 and the AABIP Tech Suite throughout the conference and will hold after-hours events with demos.
