NTT DATA joins fully and partner network grows from 15 to 20
NTT fully launched collaboration with the NTT DATA Group in 2026 and broadened the range of challenges covered by the program. It also expanded the partner organization base from 15 to 20 after the first Partnership Day in 2025.
Partners include Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), SGInnovate, JTC Corporation, Gobi Partners, AI Fund, Cradle, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. and Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
Referral model separates Partnership Day from November open-call Pitch Day
Partnership Day is part of the Group-wide "NTT Startup Challenge," which aims to create new businesses and streamline existing ones through overseas startup ecosystems. The Global Business Department of NTT, Inc. organizes the program, handling planning and operation. Each NTT Group company manages startup collaboration and new business development in its own priority areas, drawing on its available assets.
Partnership Day relies on referrals from partner networks. The open-call Pitch Day, scheduled for November 11, 2026, takes a different approach.
Participating companies now assess fit for proofs of concept
The participating companies will assess how each startup aligns with their business challenges and available assets. They will then explore collaboration toward proofs of concept (PoCs), commercialization and other initiatives. NTT has not disclosed any PoC commitments or financial terms.
