Omega Healthcare Wins Triple Recognition in 2026 Avtar-Seramount India Awards

Bengaluru – October 07, 2026 -- Omega Healthcare has secured recognition in three separate categories of the 2026 Avtar & Seramount benchmarking studies, one of India's most rigorous assessments of workplace inclusion and wellness, with the AI-driven healthcare solutions company set to collect the awards at Avtar's Best Practices of the Best conference on Nov. 3.

Company enters Hall of Fame after sixth consecutive year on women's workplace list

Omega Healthcare was named to the Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) list for the sixth straight year, a streak that qualifies it for entry into the BCWI Hall of Fame -- a distinction reserved for organizations ranked five or more years running. The BCWI study, now in its 11th edition, evaluates how organizations help women build careers and move into leadership.

Firm repeats as Champion of Inclusion on diversity index

The company was also named a Champion of Inclusion on the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI) for the second consecutive year. The MICI evaluates initiatives spanning gender, generational, disability, LGBTQ+ and regional or cultural inclusion.

Wellness ranking places Omega among India's top 10 employers

Omega Healthcare was additionally featured among the 2026 Top 10 Best Companies for Workplace Wellness (BCWW), a category that assesses how deeply well-being is embedded in leadership behavior and company systems rather than isolated programs.

CEO and Co-Founder Anurag Mehta attributed the triple recognition to the company's "One Omega" culture, crediting employees for championing inclusivity across the organization. Vice President of Human Resources Lalitha M. Shetty said being recognized across all three categories in the same year reflects consistency rather than one-off campaigns, noting the distinctions validate how employees experience the culture rather than how the company describes it.

Avtar Group links wellness investment to retention outcomes

Dr. Saundarya Rajesh, Managing Director of Avtar Group, said companies that invest deliberately in employee well-being tend to show stronger workforce representation and retention, framing wellness and inclusion as reinforcing rather than separate agendas.
