Omnigo Launches Asset Forfeiture Software for Law Enforcement

St. Louis – October 13, 2026 -- Omnigo Software has launched Omnigo Asset Forfeiture Management, a web-based application that tracks civil asset forfeiture from initial seizure through final disposition, as law enforcement agencies face heightened legislative, judicial and public scrutiny.

Omnigo builds a single end-to-end record for each seized asset

The workflow starts at the point of seizure. Staff can maintain asset, evidence and case information, monitor deadlines and required actions, create standardized legal documents, record financial activity and document final disposition in one complete record.

Scrutiny pushes agencies to run forfeiture as an agency-wide process

Agencies face a higher burden to show that every seized asset was handled properly. Omnigo says this is leading them to treat forfeiture as a coordinated, agency-wide process rather than a series of separate property, legal and financial tasks.

CEO Kevin Lafeber said accountability now depends on an agency's ability to demonstrate "what happened, when it happened, and who was responsible" at every stage.

Connected data targets duplicate entry and audit workload

The application links information that might otherwise sit in separate systems and files. Omnigo says this lets agencies reduce repetitive data entry, improve coordination across departments, and respond more efficiently to reporting requirements, public records requests and audits.

Lafeber said the aim is to give agencies the transparency expected of them without adding administrative burden for the staff responsible for forfeiture work.
