Orange Insurance Exchange Launches Three Products on Equinox AI Platform

Tampa, Fla. – September 11, 2026 -- Orange Insurance Exchange has gone live on EquinoxTM, the AI-native policy administration platform from Solstice Innovations, launching HO-3, HO-6, and DP-3 homeowners, condo, and dwelling fire products simultaneously for new business across its Florida portfolio effective September 1, 2026.

Orange launches three products at once instead of staggering releases

Rating, issuance, endorsements, renewals, claims, billing, and forms for all three lines now run on a single system, with AI embedded directly into underwriting, servicing, and claims workflows rather than added afterward. Orange CEO Don Matz said the platform's configurability lets the underwriting team respond to book performance rather than wait on a development calendar, and gives agents a faster submission process and members quicker decisions.

Commercial lines follow on the same platform in early 2027

Orange plans to build its commercial products on the identical EquinoxTM foundation, extending the single-platform approach beyond personal lines. The company is a Florida-based reciprocal insurance exchange distributing property coverage through independent agents for homeowners, condominium owners, landlords, and commercial residential property owners.

AI handles data validation and referral prioritization inside the underwriting workflow

At quote stage, the system validates and enriches property data to cut agent data entry and improve submission accuracy. In underwriting, it prioritizes referrals based on risk signals and classifies inspections, loss runs, and correspondence, shifting administrative review away from underwriters while human oversight remains in place for binding decisions.

Solstice extends its 2026 carrier roster with unified flood and homeowners coverage

Solstice Innovations CEO Travis Pine said the deployment reflects a platform built for AI from day one rather than retrofitted with it, with AI supporting underwriters instead of replacing them. The Orange launch adds to a growing roster of carriers and MGAs across NFIP flood, private flood, and homeowners lines that moved onto EquinoxTM in 2026. Solstice states it remains the only platform in the market unifying NFIP flood, private flood, and homeowners on a single AI-native system.
