IRoN Series supports TSN, 10GbE and PoE++ for deterministic rail communications
Selected models in the IRoN Series offer Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), 10GbE connectivity, or PoE++, depending on configuration. These features are designed to simplify cabling and device management while preserving the performance and determinism required for time-sensitive railway communications. Operators can select configurations matched to specific applications, with capacity to add services and devices as operational needs change over a train's lifecycle.
ORing targets IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification amid EU Cyber Resilience Act pressure
Security is built into the IRoN Series design from the outset. The portfolio is being developed to meet IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 requirements, with certification planned. Development also accounts for the EU Cyber Resilience Act, addressing device-level protection as regulatory expectations for connected industrial equipment tighten across the bloc.
Ignition-controlled power device debuts alongside expanding EN 50155 portfolio
At the exhibition, ORing also demonstrated an ignition-controlled power device that responds to vehicle start-up and shutdown signals. The launch expands the company's EN 50155 product line, the railway standard governing electronic equipment used in rolling stock.
