ororo Extends USA Bobsled/Skeleton Heated Apparel Deal to 2030

Las Vegas – October 13, 2026 -- USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) and heated apparel brand ororo have renewed their partnership through the 2029-30 season, extending a four-year relationship by another four years.

ororo remains the Official Heated Apparel Partner of USABS. It will supply the national bobsled and skeleton teams with heated gear for both training and competition.

Renewal targets the 2029 IBSF World Championships in Park City

The deal arrives as USABS enters a new quadrennial that includes the 2029 IBSF World Championships in Park City. The federation is also framing the agreement as the start of its road to 2030.

ororo CEO Mark H. said the company has supported the team through daily life, training and competitions over the past four years. He said the extension covers the team's athletes and coaches through the season.

Cold exposure ties directly to start performance

Bobsled and skeleton athletes spend long stretches in sub-freezing temperatures at the top of the track. They must then deliver an explosive push start within seconds of being called to the line. According to the release, cold hands and stiff muscles cost time.

ororo's battery-powered gear is meant to keep athletes warm and loose between runs. USABS CEO Aron McGuire said staying warm between runs directly affects start performance, and that ororo understood athlete needs from the outset.

Product specifications and a new limited collection

ororo's range spans vests, jackets, pants, gloves, socks and accessories for men, women, juniors and kids. The gear runs on UL-certified rechargeable batteries. It offers three heat settings (low, medium and high) and multiple heating zones in various configurations.

The partners are co-designing a new limited edition collection, scheduled for release in late November 2026.
