Alexandria, Va. – September 11, 2026 -- Parry Labs has appointed Scott DeVona as Chief Revenue Officer, tasking him with expanding revenue as demand grows for vendor-independent interoperability at the tactical edge.
DeVona brings a track record of personally leading multiple $100 million contract captures
DeVona spent two decades building defense software businesses and winning software-centric programs for U.S. combatant commands, Service command posts, and vehicle-based C2 systems. He has secured contracts across the Army, the Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, DARPA, and multiple allied nations.
He converted mission software into recurring-revenue products at his prior firm
DeVona joins Parry from Research Innovations, Inc., where he ran a commercial software organization and converted mission software into licensed products generating recurring revenue for U.S. and allied defense customers. He held full profit-and-loss responsibility over the product line, engineering organization, and sales teams, and rebuilt the unit's forecasting and margin discipline.
DeVona started as a Fort Monmouth engineer before rising into P&L leadership
He began his career as a software engineer at Fort Monmouth, working within Army program offices alongside senior military leaders shaping requirements and program decisions. He advanced through technical program management and business development leadership into full profit-and-loss ownership, twice helping scale early-stage defense software companies -- joining one as its seventh employee and another as its first business development hire, where he built the corporate growth function from scratch and helped grow the company more than tenfold.
Parry positions its technology against single-vendor lock-in in mission systems
