Arlington, Va. – September 19, 2026 -- Performance Drone Works (PDW), a Huntsville, Alabama-based defense technology manufacturer, served as the Stars & Stripes title sponsor of the Robert Irvine Foundation's fifth annual Red Wine & Blues event, held September 15, 2026, at the Army Navy Country Club.
Senior military leaders from all six branches attended the fundraiser
The event brought together senior military leaders from every branch alongside Juan Andrade, CEO of USAA, who delivered remarks during the program. Guests were served a four-course menu designed by Chef Robert Irvine and prepared by military cooks and Enlisted Aides.
PDW's veteran leadership ties the sponsor directly to the Foundation's mission
Performance Drone Works is led largely by veterans who build and develop equipment currently used by service members. Robert Irvine, Founder of the Robert Irvine Foundation, said the sponsorship carries added weight because PDW "understands this community firsthand and shares our commitment to the people in uniform."
Matt Higgins, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of PDW, said the event helps the Foundation "deliver support that makes a real difference for veterans and their families," adding that the company was honored to participate.
Petty Officer First Class Caleb Abdinoor named 2026 Enlisted Aide of the Year
The program closed with Robert Irvine's recognition of Petty Officer First Class Caleb Abdinoor, U.S. Navy, as the 2026 Enlisted Aide of the Year, alongside nominees from all six military branches.
