Budapest – September 22, 2026 -- South Korean biopharmaceutical company PharmaResearch officially launched its REJURAN portfolio of polynucleotide (PN)-based skin boosters in Hungary, marking its latest expansion move in Europe's aesthetic medicine market.
Symposium at Budapest museum draws 100 aesthetic medicine professionals
The launch event was held on September 14 at the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest, marking REJURAN's first collaboration with the institution. Approximately 100 dermatologists, plastic surgeons and other aesthetic medicine specialists attended the symposium, which featured seven speakers from Korea, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, including Korean key opinion leaders Dr. Hyun Jun Park and Dr. Kyu Ho Lee.
Three REJURAN products target distinct treatment applications
Korean faculty presented three products within the portfolio: REJURAN for broader facial treatment, REJURAN I for delicate areas such as the periorbital region, and REJURAN S for targeted treatment of wrinkles and scars. Live demonstrations allowed attendees to observe treatment protocols directly.
Distribution rollout follows local partner agreement
Following the launch, PharmaResearch will begin expanding distribution of the three REJURAN products across Hungary in partnership with its local distributor. The company plans to broaden its network of REJURAN clinics and physicians in major cities, supported by product education and hands-on training programs.
Demand shifts toward natural-looking results with limited downtime
Hungary's aesthetic medicine market has seen growing interest in skin quality-focused treatments alongside established injectables such as botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers. Physicians in the market are increasingly combining injectables with energy-based devices in multimodal treatment protocols.
A PharmaResearch spokesperson said the launch gave the company an opportunity to share clinical experience and treatment expertise developed in Korea while engaging directly with Hungarian physicians, adding that the company will continue investing in physician education as it expands into additional European markets.
