Phrozen Debuts 16K Large-Format Resin Printer at $1,600 for Studios

Hsinchu – September 23, 2026 -- Phrozen has launched the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX, a 14-inch 16K large-format MSLA resin 3D printer priced at USD 1,600 and now available in the United States, targeting studios and print-service providers scaling into batch and production-grade resin work.

Dual heating system targets long-print failures in cold or high-viscosity conditions

The printer's dual-fan chamber heating brings the build chamber to 30°C, while an optional heated resin vat directly warms the resin to reduce thickening and improve layer consistency across long print runs.

2L resin vat cuts mid-print refill interruptions

The vat holds up to 2.5 standard 1 kg resin bottles, giving users enough capacity for overnight prints and full build-plate batches without pausing to refill — an approach Phrozen positions as simpler and less failure-prone than auto-feed pump systems, which can suffer clogs and leaks.

Quick-release components shorten maintenance downtime between jobs

An all-metal, angled build plate drains residual resin to cut manual scraping, while the release film can be swapped without screws in about three minutes and the LCD panel supports quick removal and replacement.

1080p AI-enhanced camera adds remote monitoring for overnight and unattended jobs

A vertically mounted 1080p camera with UV-free amber LED lighting and AI color correction gives users a clearer view of the full build area, supporting time-lapse review and remote checks via the Phrozen GO mobile app, which also manages multiple printers and sends alerts.

Printer anchors a broader large-format post-processing ecosystem

Phrozen positions the Revo MAX alongside its Wash Mega S, Cure Mega S, Air Purifier Max and 3D Printer Enclosure Mega, alongside compatibility with CHITUBOX, Lychee Slicer and the PIXUP model platform, to connect sourcing, slicing, printing, cleaning and curing into one workflow.

Ray Wu, CEO of Phrozen, said the company aims to reduce points of uncertainty in large-format printing, from heating and resin capacity to monitoring and maintenance, so users can build a workflow they can trust.

A limited-time Super Early Bird offer discounts the printer by 20% off the USD 1,600 list price.
