Leopard Imaging Launches DragonFire Thermal Camera for Industry

Fremont, Calif. – September 07, 2026 -- Leopard Imaging has introduced the LI-DragonFire-VGA-GM2B, an uncooled infrared camera module targeting thermal imaging and temperature measurement in industrial systems.

DragonFire delivers 640 x 512 thermal resolution with 40 mK sensitivity

The module uses a 12 x 12 μm pixel size and a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) as low as 40 mK, enabling detailed capture of fine thermal information. It supports 30/60 Hz frame rates for real-time imaging of moving objects and operating equipment.

Camera measures temperatures from -20°C to 600°C across two modes

DragonFire offers a high-quality measurement range of -20°C to +160°C alongside a wide-range mode covering 50°C to +600°C, allowing the same module to monitor both precision heat differentials and extreme industrial temperatures.
