GAC's Amorphous Motor Tech Wins Top Honor at Geneva Inventions Expo

Guangzhou – September 25, 2026 -- GAC Group's electric drive project has won the Gold Medal with the Congratulations of the Jury, the highest distinction at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, an award requiring unanimous jury approval selected from among all Gold Medal winners.
Ultra-thin amorphous stator technology cuts motor energy loss
The winning project, "Key Precision Manufacturing Technologies and Applications for Low-Loss Stator Cores Based on Ultra-Thin Amorphous Materials," applies ultra-thin amorphous material to motor stator cores to reduce energy loss, allowing more stored power to drive the vehicle rather than dissipate as heat.
