PCIe 7.0 doubles data rates to 128.0 GT/s, straining existing validation tools
The PCIe 7.0 specification doubles the raw data rate of PCIe 6.0 from 64.0 GT/s to 128.0 GT/s, delivering up to 512 GB/s of bi-directional bandwidth in a x16 configuration. At these speeds, PAM4 signaling and FLIT-based protocol architectures demand test equipment capable of generating precise protocol traffic and providing deterministic control over link behavior.
