Protiviti Hits 1 Million Meals as Golfer Fitzpatrick Wins Again

Menlo Park, Calif. – September 28, 2026 -- Global consulting firm Protiviti has surpassed one million meals donated through its Birdies for Meals program following professional golfer Matt Fitzpatrick's victory at the FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National.

Fitzpatrick's win triggers 25,000-meal donation, pushing program past milestone

Fitzpatrick closed with rounds of 65-64-65-70 to finish at 20-under-par, securing a three-stroke victory and his fourth title of the season. The result triggered a 25,000-meal donation under Protiviti's Birdies for Meals campaign, lifting the program's cumulative total to 1,010,000 meals since its 2021 launch. Fitzpatrick alone has generated 162,000 meals this season.

Consulting firm supplies AI-driven analytics platform to golfer's coaching team

Protiviti serves as Fitzpatrick's Official Performance Data Partner, building a custom analytics platform, tailored dashboards and a mobile application on Microsoft technology. The tools deliver real-time, shot-level insights used by Fitzpatrick's caddie and coaches to refine preparation and in-competition decision-making. Nick Ciafardini, Associate Director of Innovation at Protiviti, said the firm applies the same data-driven methodology it uses for corporate clients to the golfer's performance program.

Victory extends Fitzpatrick's career total to 15 professional wins, 11 on DP World Tour

The FedEx Open de France triumph marks Fitzpatrick's 15th professional win and 11th on the DP World Tour. He built a five-stroke lead entering the final round, made 12 consecutive pars during a difficult stretch, then birdied the 13th hole to regain control before closing with a 1-under 70. Fitzpatrick has been a Protiviti brand ambassador since 2020, with prior titles including the 2022 U.S. Open, the 2023 and 2026 RBC Heritage, and the 2026 Valspar Championship.

Protiviti CEO ties sponsorship to firm's data and AI capabilities

Joseph Tarantino, Protiviti's president and CEO, said the firm combines Fitzpatrick's talent with data, AI and technology to support his performance, framing the meal-donation milestone as a parallel measure of program impact. Protiviti is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half (NYSE: RHI).
