Atlanta – October 12, 2026 -- Pye-Barker Engineered Solutions has changed its name to HAE Industrial, separating its pump and compressor business from Pye-Barker Fire & Safety as it targets growth across Georgia, Florida and the wider Southeast US.
The company said the rebrand involves no sale, acquisition, merger or change in ownership. Customers will keep the same local sales and service teams, equipment support and engineering expertise.
HAE Industrial draws its name from the 1968 Hydro-Air Engineering division
"HAE" refers to Hydro-Air Engineering, the division established in 1968 to provide pump and compressor equipment, maintenance and repair. "Industrial" reflects the company's broader scope across pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum systems and related air and fluid applications. The name is pronounced "hey industrial."
The company traces its service to manufacturers and industrial facility leadership back to 1936.

The new name distinguishes the company from Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, which the company describes as a separate business. HAE Industrial said the identity gives it a stronger platform for expansion in Georgia, Florida and the greater Southeast.

Supplier lineup continues with Viking Pumps, Gardner Denver and Crane
HAE Industrial will keep supplying, installing and servicing equipment from Viking Pumps, Gardner Denver, Crane, ARO, Barmesa and Travaini.
New identity rolls out across customer touchpoints in coming months
The HAE Industrial name and visual identity has begun appearing on the company's website, communications, sales materials and signage, with the rollout continuing in the coming months. During the transition, the company may identify itself as "HAE Industrial, formerly Pye-Barker Engineered Solutions."
