Rareview Capital Launches BCOM ETF Tracking Bloomberg Commodity Index

Las Vegas – October 02, 2026 -- Rareview Capital LLC has launched the Rareview Bloomberg Commodity Index ETF, trading under the symbol BCOM, offering passive exposure to the Bloomberg Commodity Index Total Return.

Fund tracks 24 futures contracts across 22 commodities as of April 30, 2026

The ETF is weighted two-thirds by trading volume or liquidity and one-third by world production or global economic significance. Weight caps limit any single commodity to 15% and any sector to 33%, capping concentration risk across energy, metals, agriculture and livestock.

Rareview argues portfolios are shifting away from the 60/40 stock-bond split

Neil Azous, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Rareview Capital, said the key question for portfolio construction is no longer which commodity will outperform, but whether commodities deserve a permanent allocation alongside stocks and bonds. He said the firm believes the traditional 60% stocks, 40% bonds model is shifting toward 60% stocks, 30% bonds, and 10% commodities.

Bloomberg Index Services backs the benchmark choice

Jim Wiederhold, Commodity Indices Product Manager at Bloomberg Index Services Limited, said the index is designed to reflect the economic significance and liquidity of global commodity markets while maintaining sector diversification.

The fund is distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC.
