Vancouver – October 03, 2026 -- The Nasdaq Composite closed the week up 0.44% at 27,188.02, buoyed by large-cap technology stocks, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.42% to 51,094.96 and the Russell 2000 slipped 0.13% to 2,833.74, marking a narrow market rally as the third quarter closed.

The S&P 500 eased 0.31% for the week to 7,719.34 despite a 0.69% Friday gain. The CBOE Volatility Index fell to 15.58, down 0.49 for the week, while WTI crude dropped 2.19% to $90.57 a barrel and the 10-year Treasury yield rose 8 basis points to 5.26%. Gold held near $4,166.60 an ounce and copper gained 1.07% on the day to $6.55 a pound.

Raytheon wins $24.4 billion Navy contract for SM-6 interceptors

RTX's Raytheon business secured a five-year contract, plus two option years, valued at up to $24.4 billion to boost availability of Standard Missile-6 interceptors for the U.S. Navy. The company cited investment in workforce growth, industrial partnerships and automation to raise output of the weapon, which it says is the only combat-proven system capable of anti-air warfare, anti-surface warfare and ballistic missile defense.

Integra LifeSciences cuts 2026 revenue outlook after Cincinnati flood

Integra LifeSciences lowered its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $1.634 billion-$1.654 billion from $1.654 billion-$1.695 billion, and cut adjusted EPS guidance to $2.30-$2.40 from $2.40-$2.50, citing continued disruption from a July flooding event at its Cincinnati facility. The company expects preliminary third-quarter revenue of $410 million to $412 million and adjusted EPS of $0.55 to $0.59, while maintaining operating cash flow guidance of $190 million to $200 million for the year.

Trilogy Metals closes $35.6 million U.S. government equity investment

Phillips Edison & Company increased its gross acquisitions guidance to $600 million-$700 million from $500 million-$600 million, after acquiring $459.7 million in assets and selling $174.0 million year to date through September 30, 2026. The REIT reaffirmed full-year 2026 earnings guidance, with Core FFO per share growth tracking 6.2% at the midpoint and same-center NOI growth of 3.7%.
