Stuttgart – October 12, 2026 -- Raytron OEM used VISION 2026 at Messe Stuttgart (October 6-8) to show a short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera that runs full-frame at up to 825 fps, alongside thermal imaging modules aimed at European machine vision integrators and OEM developers.
NS-615AS-10GE pairs 640 × 512 resolution with a 10GigE interface
The camera targets high-speed acquisition tasks such as semiconductor inspection and material sorting. Raytron showed it next to the NS-615A-GE area-scan SWIR camera and the NS-101L2 line-scan SWIR camera, which offer other acquisition formats and interface options.
Live SWIR demonstrations told sugar from salt and compared dry and wet biscuit samples. The demos covered material differentiation, food sorting and moisture detection.
SE5 1280 module and WN2T Series target OEM thermal integration
For customers building thermal imaging into their own products, the SE5 1280 module offers 1280 × 1024 resolution, a compact design and multiple digital interfaces. The WN2T Series temperature measurement modules add non-contact measurement with compact dimensions and low power consumption. Raytron aims both at industrial inspection and monitoring equipment.
Raytron links thermal vision to EU Battery Regulation compliance
On October 8, Fushuai Liu, Head of Europe & Americas, spoke at Industrial VISION Days on infrared perception in European machine vision. He drew on the Raytron EV Lithium-ion Battery Thermal Safety White Paper and covered battery safety, process quality and traceability under the EU Battery Regulation.
Liu outlined a three-layer Thermal Vision framework. It combines thermal imaging hardware, data analysis and management, and integration with existing plant control and safety systems. The approach provides continuous monitoring, tiered alerts and traceable thermal records across battery production, testing and storage.
Application examples included the TN460U Ultra-high Temperature Thermal Camera for battery safety testing. The TN430 and TN460 online thermal cameras were shown for die-casting mold temperature monitoring.
