Leesburg, Va. – September 09, 2026 -- Resonant Clinical Solutions has acquired France-based Creapharm Bioservices from Myonex, expanding its cryogenic storage and biobanking capabilities across Europe to support increasingly complex cell and gene therapy trials.
Deal adds specialized cryogenic infrastructure in France
Creapharm Bioservices, headquartered in Bailly-Romainvilliers, France, provides biobanking and cryogenic storage services for biotherapeutics, advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) and biological samples. Its capabilities include liquid nitrogen storage down to -196°C, mechanical freezing, cold storage, GMP-compliant sample storage and GDP-compliant custody for quality control. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Advanced modalities now account for 46% of clinical trial starts
An IQVIA study published in August 2025 found that non-small molecule drugs, including advanced modalities, represented 46% of Phase I-III clinical trials initiated in 2024, up from 38% five years earlier. Resonant cited this shift toward specialized therapies as the driver behind the acquisition.

Corey Stone, Vice President and General Manager of Biobanking at Resonant, said the acquisition adds technical expertise in handling highly sensitive biological materials and expands the company's European infrastructure and client relationships. Creapharm Bioservices also brings capabilities in handling Class 1 and Class 2 genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and maintaining chain of custody from controlled ambient temperature through cryogenic storage.
Myonex divests unit to focus on core clinical supply business
Greg Lavin, CEO of Myonex, said the transaction allows Myonex to concentrate on its core strengths and future strategy while Creapharm Bioservices continues under Resonant's leadership. Myonex operates clinical trial supply and packaging services across the United States, France and Germany.
