SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 25, 2024 – Ricoh's new monochrome inkjet continuous feed printing system, the Pro VC40000, enables the cost-effective production of high-quality transaction and book printing.

The latest model in Ricoh's Pro VC40000 series helps printing companies meet shorter delivery times and increase throughput for black and white applications while simultaneously reducing costs. The system achieves a printing speed of up to 180 m/min with a resolution of 600×600 dpi. In addition, two different ink sets are offered: dye ink, which is mainly used for transaction printing, and pigment ink, which is ideal for book printing. For example, with mono dye ink, the printing system achieves a speed of 225 m/min with a resolution of 600×300 dpi.

Another advantage is the flexible printing system configuration with duplex, simplex, and dual simplex functions. Complex and intensive production processes can be automated and optimized in demanding printing environments with Ricoh's Process Driven Automation, which is based on the Ricoh Process Director.

Sander Sondaal, Director Commercial Print Sales at Ricoh Europe Graphic Communications, explains: "Ricoh works closely with its customers in transaction and book printing to better understand their requirements and develop the most effective solutions possible to meet today's demands for short delivery times and high image quality in black and white printing. The Ricoh Pro VC40000 delivers razor-sharp print results at very high print speeds. The costs for operation, service, and capital procurement are attractive and offer outstanding value for money."

The new Ricoh Pro VC40000 monochrome inkjet continuous feed printing system is now available in the EMEA region.
