Istanbul – September 12, 2026 -- Rönesans Holding has secured a place among the world's Top 50 International Contractors for the eleventh consecutive year, according to Engineering News-Record's (ENR) 2026 ranking of the Top 250 International Contractors.
Rönesans has completed 1,000-plus projects across nearly 40 countries since starting international operations in 1993
The Turkish construction group has generated $50 billion in international project revenue over more than three decades abroad, working alongside 3,500 Turkish manufacturers and suppliers to deliver engineering, production and services to markets worldwide.
ENR ranks contractors by revenue earned outside their home markets, a measure of global competitiveness rather than overall size
Rönesans first entered the ENR list in 2006 at position 86 before climbing into the top tier. The company employs 28,853 Turkish professionals in its international offices, including 3,500 engineers and architects, with total project staffing reaching 271,888 across its overseas operations.
Rönesans has sourced and exported more than $2 billion in goods and services through Turkish suppliers over the past decade
Working with 3,000 manufacturers and 500 suppliers based in Turkey, the company has channeled international construction demand into domestic export volume, giving Turkish engineers, architects and managers direct experience on major global projects.

Rönesans' portfolio includes Europe's tallest building and the Netherlands' longest highway tunnel
The company's international project list spans the Lakhta Center in Russia, Europe's tallest building; the Gotthard Base Tunnel beneath the Swiss Alps; the Gaasperdammertunnel in the Netherlands; and a gas-to-gasoline plant in Turkmenistan.
European acquisitions since 2009 include stakes in PORR, Alpine Bau, Heitkamp and Ballast Nedam
Rönesans acquired a 10% stake in Austrian contractor PORR in 2009, followed by an Alpine Bau Group subsidiary in 2013, German engineering firm Heitkamp in 2014, and Dutch builder Ballast Nedam in 2015. Ballast Nedam returned to profitability within three years of restructuring under Rönesans management.
