Rothschild, Singularity Launch Partner-Owned RIA With No PE Capital

Chicago – October 14, 2026 -- Rothschild Wealth Partners and Singularity Financial Partners have launched Rothschild Financial Partners, a newly registered investment adviser owned by its partners, with client assets across three partner firms expected to reach approximately $750 million by year end.

The firm has no private-equity capital. Its owners are Rothschild Wealth Partners, Singularity Financial Partners and the advisors who join. Three partner firms have joined since September 2026, and more are expected by year end. Each will be introduced in the coming weeks.

Launch targets the independence-versus-scale trade-off facing established advisors

The firm is aimed at established advisors and firm owners planning growth, succession and the value of their practices. Advisors have typically had to choose between running technology, operations and growth alone as independents, or joining a larger firm and fitting their practice to its model. Rothschild Financial Partners says its structure removes that choice.

Michael Roth, Chief Executive Officer of Rothschild Financial Partners, said the firm is designed to give advisors an operating company behind their practice while paying them for what they built and giving them equity in the firm's future.

Partners keep clients and teams while the firm runs operations and pays out for the practice

Every advisor who joins becomes a partner with two roles. As a practitioner, the partner keeps clients and team. The firm handles operations, compliance, trading and technology, and directs new client opportunities to the partner. As an owner, the partner is paid for the practice they built and holds equity in the firm.

Singularity builds proprietary technology in-house for the new RIA

Singularity Financial Partners, working with Rothschild Wealth Partners, built the operating infrastructure. It covers proprietary technology, business development, operations, compliance and trading. It also includes a specialist bench in estate, tax, insurance, business succession and retirement plans, plus a multi-family office. The firm says this infrastructure is built by partners and never sold to anyone else.

The technology is developed inside the firm around how each partner works, rather than purchased and adapted. Every process runs through the system and is measured, so a partner's best practice becomes available to all partners and stays with the firm when that partner retires. Singularity's founders previously built RetireUp, Finance Logix and Invent.

Mac O'Brien, Chief Growth Officer of both Rothschild Financial Partners and Rothschild Wealth Partners, said AI will either erode or enhance a wealth firm depending on whether it is built inside the firm or sold to it.

Rothschild Wealth Partners grew from $2.5 billion to over $10 billion in four years

Rothschild Wealth Partners traces its roots to 1908 in Chicago. Four years ago, its next-generation leadership reorganized ownership around clients, advisors and executives. Enterprise-wide assets have since grown from $2.5 billion to more than $10 billion. Rothschild Financial Partners runs on the same foundation, operating staff and standards.
