Dallas – – October 02, 2026 -- Sky Elements launched 71,207 drones over three consecutive nights in Blue Ridge, Texas, breaking the Guinness World Records title for most drones flown in a single week and surpassing the prior mark of 55,939.
Sky Elements flies 11,000 drones in single show, largest ever staged in America
Working with Damoda America, the company flew six 10,000-drone shows and one 11,000-drone show between Sunday, Sept. 27 and Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, with crews recharging and relaunching the fleet between performances. An official Guinness World Records adjudicator verified each flight.
Mythical creature formation of 10,183 drones shatters prior record by more than 4x
The team also claimed the record for largest aerial display of a mythical creature, flying 10,183 drones to beat the previous benchmark of 2,247. The two titles mark Sky Elements' 18th and 19th Guinness World Records.
CEO says US team matches drone-show scale previously limited to Asia and Middle East
"Until now, shows of this size have happened in Asia and the Middle East. This week, we proved an American team can fly them here at home, and we did it night after night," said Rick Boss, CEO of Sky Elements.
Formations included eagle, dragon, Pegasus and deep-space imagery across seven shows
Pilots, engineers and designers created original sequences each night, including a soaring eagle, lion, turning gears, dragon, Pegasus, Americana imagery, a Noah's Ark recreation, a black hole and a closing UFO sequence.

The company said the performance establishes capability to deliver shows of 10,000 drones or more for sports leagues, municipalities, brands and major events nationwide.
