CART shows high concordance with standard ambulatory monitoring in severe heart failure patients
Professor In-Cheol Kim of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital reported that CART, tested against conventional 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) in heart failure patients with a mean ejection fraction of 29%, showed high concordance and fully met European Society of Hypertension (ESH) error-margin criteria.
Professor Ki-Hong Lee of Chonnam National University Hospital said the 80% evaluability rate in AFib patients enabled precise observation of nocturnal blood pressure dipping patterns, a capability previously limited by cuff-based devices in patients with irregular pulses.
Independent researchers confirm CART meets ESH cuffless validation standards
Professor Hae-Young Lee of Seoul National University Hospital confirmed CART met ESH recommendations for cuffless devices across Static, Device Position, Awake/Asleep and Exercise tests. Professors Seok-Min Kang of Severance Hospital and George Stergiou of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens noted Sky Labs is among a small number of companies globally meeting the ESH's strict validation criteria for cuffless measurement devices.
Sleep apnea study links over 12,000 respiratory events to sharp blood pressure spikes
Professor Jong-Chan Youn of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital analyzed more than 12,000 respiratory disturbance events across 62 sleep apnea patients, detecting pronounced blood pressure surges immediately after breathing resumed. Separately, Professor Eun-Mi Lee of Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital presented a case where CART's cuffless readings allowed safe medication reduction in a patient suffering cuff-induced pain and stress.

CART uses PPG sensors and deep-learning algorithms to deliver cuffless 24-hour blood pressure readings via a finger-worn ring. It is actively prescribed at more than 2,000 medical institutions in Korea, with cumulative prescriptions exceeding 300,000. The device was officially recommended in the Korean Society of Hypertension's 2026 Guidelines (6th edition), marking what the company describes as a global first for a cuffless ring-type blood pressure monitor.
