Smartee Launches Two Orthodontic Systems at First Overseas Summit

Palma de Mallorca, Spain – October 02, 2026 -- Smartee Denti-Technology concluded its first large-scale academic summit held outside China on September 19, drawing nearly 300 orthodontic clinicians from 27 countries to Palma de Mallorca and unveiling two new clear-aligner product systems for international markets.

Smartee debuts SA/SA Plus and AG KIDS systems at two-day event

The Smartee European Summit 2026 served as the international launch platform for Smartee SA/SA Plus, a clear-aligner system incorporating a locking mechanism to address primary snoring and mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea alongside orthodontic treatment. The company also introduced Smartee AG KIDS, a craniofacial growth guidance system for patients aged 3 to 16 that targets sagittal, vertical and transverse growth management paired with orofacial myofunctional training appliances.

Opening the summit, Founder and CEO Junfeng Yao outlined how the company is embedding artificial intelligence into its product systems and internal workflows to improve clinical support efficiency for doctors.

Scientific program splits focus between mandibular repositioning and sleep medicine

Day one centered on GS Mandibular Repositioning Technology, with Prof. Gang Shen of Taikang ByBo Dental, Chief Scientist for Smartee's GS R&D, presenting the clinical rationale for a three-dimensional approach to mandibular positional discrepancies alongside Dr. Xingxing Wang, Smartee's Clinical Medical Director. Additional speakers included Prof. Thomas Felkai of Semmelweis University, Dr. Katarzyna Łoza-Sołtyk of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics, and Dr. Pratik Sharma of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, who discussed case selection for mandibular retrognathia and asymmetric Class II malocclusion.

Day two shifted to early orthodontic treatment and dental sleep medicine. Prof. Antonio Gracco of the University of Padua and Dr. Francesca Milano, former President of the European Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, addressed clinical evidence for oral appliances in managing snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Yue Weng Cheu of DP Dental in Singapore, principal clinical collaborator on the AG KIDS launch, emphasized that pediatric sleep-related breathing disorder diagnosis should remain within appropriate medical specialties, with higher-risk cases referred for multidisciplinary evaluation.

Company sets Rome as next European Summit destination in 2027

Garie Zhou, Director of International Business at Smartee, said the company plans to continue international academic exchange, professional education and clinical research across GS technology, early orthodontics and dental sleep medicine. Smartee confirmed Rome as the location for its next European Summit in 2027.
