Government agencies are legally required to preserve mobile communications for records retention, audits, investigations, litigation, and eDiscovery. Most existing compliance tools were designed for email and have not adapted to how federal employees now communicate via mobile apps.
SnippetSentry captures messages across five major platforms
SnippetSentry's platform captures business communications from iMessage, SMS, Signal, WhatsApp, and Android Messaging, routing records into an agency's chosen archive, records management, or eDiscovery system. The company already holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications.
Knox Systems will manage the federal authorization process
Knox Systems, described as the largest and longest-running federal managed cloud provider, will guide SnippetSentry through the FedRAMP Moderate Authorization requirements. Knox states it can deliver FedRAMP authorization in 90 days for its cloud clients, which include Adobe, Celonis, OutSystems, Armis, and BigID.
