Qingdao – September 19, 2026 -- Qingdao SOCO New Material Co., Ltd. has launched ODORSORB-101, a plant-based liquid formulated to chemically capture nitrogen- and sulfur-based odor compounds at industrial and municipal sites rather than mask them.
Product targets ammonia, sulfide and amine compounds at the source
ODORSORB-101 is engineered to capture and lock odor-causing molecules including ammonia, methylamine, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans and sulfides, reducing their volatility and limiting re-release into surrounding air. These compounds are commonly generated at wastewater plants, sludge and leachate ponds, manure storage and organic waste sites.
SOCO positions odor control as an operational and compliance issue
"Odor control is not only about improving comfort. For many operators, it is part of site management, worker experience, community relations and environmental responsibility," a SOCO spokesperson said, adding that the product was designed for delivery through common spraying, misting and fogging systems.
Formulation carries neutral pH and standard liquid packaging
SOCO's technical data lists a pH range of 7.0-7.5 and specific gravity of 1.00-1.05. The product is supplied as a liquid in sealed, moisture-resistant industrial packaging, and can be diluted for application via spraying, misting, fogging, direct dosing or scrubber circulation systems depending on site conditions.
Applications span wastewater, livestock and waste transfer sites
Target use cases include wastewater and sludge ponds, septic and manure tanks, leachate ponds, scrubber towers, industrial workshops, waste transfer stations, livestock housing and public restroom facilities.
