Las Vegas – September 11, 2026 -- Southwest Gas Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SWX) has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, disclosing a 33.7% reduction in fleet and building-facility emissions against a 2015 baseline, exceeding its 20%-by-2025 target.
Emergency response and safety metrics improve across the network
The utility responded to 79.2% of emergencies within 30 minutes, a record for the Company. Its Total Recordable Incident Rate fell 17% year over year, while the Days Away, Restricted or Transferred rate dropped 37%. Excavation damages declined 7.7% since 2021, reducing the risk of natural gas releases.
J.D. Power ranks Southwest Gas No. 1 for the sixth straight year
The Company topped J.D. Power's Residential Natural Gas Service satisfaction rankings in the West among Large Utilities for the sixth consecutive year. Southwest Gas also completed a major modernization project to strengthen real-time monitoring and cybersecurity of its natural gas system.
Vacuum and compression technology avoids 191 metric tons of CO2 equivalent
The Company captured 3.37 million standard cubic feet of natural gas using vacuum and compression technology, avoiding an estimated 191 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions. In Nevada, the Move2Zero program doubled per-block greenhouse gas emissions offsets for participating customers and surpassed 200,000 therms in total program offsets since 2022.
Southwest Gas Foundation directs $2.5 million to 362 nonprofits
The Southwest Gas Foundation invested $2.5 million across 362 nonprofit and charitable organizations in the Company's service territory. Employees contributed more than 4,500 volunteer hours and pledged approximately $2.7 million through the FUEL for LIFE employee giving program.
The 2025 Report marks the Company's first full year of standalone sustainability disclosure following the separation of Centuri Holdings, Inc. into an independent utility infrastructure company. Justin Brown, President and CEO, attributed the results to the Company's operational discipline and stated the values guiding daily operations include Safety First, Integrity in All That We Do, Relationships Matter, and Sustainability in Action.
