Los Angeles – September 24, 2026 -- Stand8, a global technology consulting firm, has launched the Stand8 Model Gateway, a new enterprise AI service designed to reduce model spending and compress the path from proof of concept to production AI deployment into a 90-day sprint.
Gateway routes each AI task to the most cost-effective model without touching client data
The gateway is deployed inside the client's own cloud account on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, sitting between applications and the models they call. Stand8 designs and tunes the routing logic but does not sit in the data path itself. The system evaluates each task and routes it to the most appropriate option among leading closed models, open-source and open-weight models, or smaller fine-tuned models, while layering in caching, identity, policy, and audit controls.
Executive says clients should not default every task to the most expensive model
Eric Gula, Vice President of Enterprise Solution Architecture and Delivery at Stand8, said organizations should not have to commit every AI task to the most expensive model or redesign an application each time a better model becomes available. He said the gateway gives clients a flexible control layer for balancing quality, speed, cost, and governance across tasks.
90-Day Enterprise AI Sprint moves one use case from data validation to a named owner
The sprint structure takes a single defined use case through data validation, model strategy, gateway integration, security and compliance controls, testing, and handoff to a named owner. Success is measured on three metrics: output quality, cost per outcome, and time saved.
Delivery operates under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification with annual SOC 2 Type II audits
Stand8 said all AI solutions are delivered within an ISO/IEC 27001:2022-certified security program, subject to an annual SOC 2 Type II examination, with security, compliance, and governance built into the delivery process from the outset rather than added after deployment.
