Austin, Texas – September 11, 2026 -- Storable, the software platform serving self-storage, marine and RV & camping operators, has appointed Scott Chancellor as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding co-founder Chuck Gordon after his 18-year tenure leading the company.
Gordon shifts to board and advisory roles after 18 years building Storable
Gordon will remain on Storable's Board of Directors and continue as an advisor to the company. He stated that Chancellor brings a combination of product, technology and operating experience suited to lead the company's next chapter.
Chancellor's track record spans Aircall, Humu, Apptio and AWS
Chancellor most recently served as CEO of Aircall, where he led the company's expansion into AI, nearly doubled revenue, and drove the business to profitability. He previously served as CEO of Humu, leading its sale to Perceptyx, and as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Apptio, where he reshaped product strategy ahead of its acquisition by IBM. Earlier in his career, he founded and led the AWS Insights business at Amazon Web Services. He holds degrees from the University of Washington and Harvard Business School.
New CEO prioritizes AI-driven workflows for property operators
Chancellor said his focus from day one is accelerating the pace of innovation and bringing AI into everyday workflows to save operators time. He said the goal applies to operators managing three facilities or three hundred, emphasizing technology that works for the operator rather than against them.
