Wilmington, Del. – September 24, 2026 -- Synteq has launched its largest single-site expansion to date, deploying a full-scale cloud and GPU compute facility in Chicago that extends the company's infrastructure into the Northern US Central region.
Chicago site runs Synteq's newest core platform end to end
The Chicago deployment combines high-density GPU compute for AI and machine learning workloads with virtualized cloud, bare metal servers, and block storage, all operated on Synteq's own network backbone, AS400304, and managed entirely by the Synteq team.
Redundant fiber ring connects site to 350 E. Cermak interconnection hub
All network traffic routes through a redundant dark fiber ring into 350 E. Cermak, one of the largest interconnection points globally. Chicago's central US location places both coasts within roughly 50 milliseconds, allowing a single deployment to serve nationwide customers without the latency penalties of coastal or edge-only builds.
CEO Eric Yingling cites strong initial customer commitments
"Chicago is opening with substantial customer commitments, and we're already adding more equipment," said Eric Yingling, Chief Executive Officer of Synteq. He said the demand is driving continued investment, with additional systems entering production over coming weeks ahead of further expansion.
Facility meets Tier III resilience and multiple compliance standards
The site operates as a Tier III facility with a 99.99% uptime SLA. It holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA compliance certifications.
Customers can provision GPU servers and storage immediately
The Chicago deployment is online now, with customers able to provision dedicated GPU servers, virtual machines, and block storage via API, CLI, or Synteq Cloud, the company's unified control plane for provisioning, management, and billing. Synteq said capacity will continue to be added as it expands in the region, with plans for further growth in Chicago and additional new locations nationwide.
