Tangram Interiors CEO Nick Meter Buys Control in Leadership Transition

Los Angeles – September 23, 2026 -- Tangram Interiors, a Steelcase dealer generating nearly $300 million in annual sales, has completed a management buyout installing company president Nick Meter as chief executive, succeeding Joe Lozowski after his 25-year tenure at the helm.

Meter acquires significant ownership stake from the Lozowski family

Meter led the buyout, taking a significant equity position in the firm previously held by the Lozowski family, which retains a minority interest. Lozowski will remain involved as an executive advisor during the transition, and family members continue to be active in the business.

Firm built nearly $300 million in annual sales under 25-year leadership

Under Lozowski, Tangram expanded into a diversified interiors operation spanning contract furniture, architectural products, technology integration, custom fabrication and facility services. The company serves Southern California, the Central Valley and Dallas–Fort Worth as one of the largest commercial interiors firms in the country.

Company confirms no changes to operations, brand or client contracts

Tangram will continue operating under its existing name and brand, with no changes to day-to-day operations, service teams or client relationships. The transition is structured to preserve continuity for clients, employees and manufacturer partners, including its Steelcase dealership relationship.

"Building Tangram alongside this team has been the privilege of my career," said Lozowski. Steelcase vice president of channel Pamela Woodward said the company's dedication to Steelcase, its clients and its team has built a strong and enduring partnership, adding that Steelcase looks forward to continuing that relationship with Meter and the Tangram team.
