Huizhou – September 28, 2026 -- TCL inaugurated its Industrial Museum in Huizhou, China, marking the company's 45th anniversary on the site where its predecessor, TTK, first began operations in 1981.

Museum spans 23,000 square meters with 3,000 curated artifacts

The facility includes more than 9,000 square meters of exhibition space across six halls and a central atrium. Exhibits include a 1920s Nipkow mechanical scanning disk, China's first television set, China's first commercial computer, and the world's first mass-produced printed OLED 4K display, developed by TCL CSOT in 2024. The television gallery holds over 100 vintage TV sets from around the world.

2019 restructuring split TCL into two entities, tripling one division's revenue

TCL completed a corporate restructuring in 2019 that separated the group into TCL Technology, focused on display and new energy, and TCL Industries, focused on smart devices and services. Between 2019 and 2025, TCL Technology's revenue rose from approximately US$8.4 billion to US$27 billion, while TCL Industries' revenue grew from US$11.7 billion to approximately US$24.9 billion.

TCL ranks No. 2 globally in TV shipments and panel market share

TCL TV held the No. 2 position globally by shipment volume in 2025. TCL CSOT ranked No. 2 globally in overall TV panel market share that year, according to Omdia. In clean energy, TCL Zhonghuan is the world's largest producer of solar-grade silicon crystals and a key supplier in the global silicon wafer market. TCL was named one of TIME's World's Best Companies in 2026.

Brand extends reach through Olympic partnership and cultural initiatives

As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, TCL is using the platform to expand its consumer visibility. The company has also launched TCLArt, TCLforHer, TCLGreen, and TCLYoung initiatives to broaden engagement across culture, society, and sustainability.
