Bucharest – September 22, 2026 -- Temu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Business Service Leaders in Romania (ABSL), the country's leading body representing shared services, business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing and R&D companies.
Temu joins ABSL as an official E-commerce Partner
Under the agreement, Temu will take part in ABSL's programs and events, engaging directly with the association's network of startups and multinationals operating across shared services, BPO, ITO and R&D in Romania. Temu will also provide expertise and in-kind support to ABSL initiatives.

Adrian Baron, President of ABSL Romania, said the collaboration reflects the growing importance of cross-sector cooperation, creating a platform to connect expertise from the business services and e-commerce sectors and to support dialogue within Romania's broader business community.
Deal follows Temu's talks with European trade bodies on growth barriers
The MoU builds on Temu's broader engagement with local businesses across Europe, following discussions this year with trade associations, chambers of commerce and industry bodies that flagged complexity, cost and lack of connection as key barriers to growth. A Temu spokesperson said the company aims to contribute to Romania's business ecosystem through the ABSL partnership.
