Automotive Hall of Fame Names GM's Mark Reuss 2026 Industry Leader

Detroit – September 07, 2026 -- The Automotive Hall of Fame has selected Mark Reuss, president of General Motors, as winner of the 2026 Industry Leader Award in the OEM category, sponsored by Lear Corporation.

Lear CEO Ray Scott will present the award on September 29, 2026

The award ceremony will take place during the Automotive News Global Congress at The Department at Hudson's in Detroit, Michigan. Ray Scott, president and CEO of Lear Corporation and a 2021 AHF Distinguished Service Citation recipient, will present the honor to Reuss. Following the presentation, Reuss and Scott will join KC Crain, president and CEO of Crain Communications and an AHF board member, for a fireside chat covering automotive leadership, industry transformation, and innovation.

London – September 04, 2026 -- 50 Best has published its extended ranking of hotels placed No.51 to No.100, covering 23 territories and 40 cities ahead of the main World's 50 Best Hotels 2026 ceremony set for Paris on September 15. The expanded list includes 10 independent properties and precedes the top-50 announcement broadcast live on 50 Best's YouTube channel at 20:00 Paris time.

Asia dominates with 20 ranked properties, led by Japan's seven entries

Japan places Park Hyatt Tokyo at No.53, Hotel The Mitsui in Kyoto at No.79, and Waldorf Astoria Osaka at No.89. Mainland China enters the list with two hotels: Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen at No.90 and The Peninsula Shanghai at No.99.
