Nashville, Tenn. – September 07, 2026 -- Thyme Care has closed a Series E financing round exceeding $125 million at a valuation of more than $2 billion, led by Morgan Health with participation from Humana and CVS Health Ventures.

Strategic payers back oncology care model managing $7 billion in spend

The round drew institutional backers including AlleyCorp, HealthQuest Capital, Foresite Capital, Concord Health Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, and a16z Bio + Health. Thyme Care services now reach more than 10.5 million people across all 50 states, and the company manages over $7 billion in oncology spend. The care model delivers validated reductions of 5 to 10 percent in total cost of care, according to the company, which reports it is profitable and generates positive free cash flow.

Morgan Health CEO cites cost and access gains from Thyme Care's model

Dan Mendelson, chief executive officer of Morgan Health, said Thyme Care is changing an experience where cancer patients have traditionally coordinated their own care and paid more along the way. He said the investment reflects confidence in Thyme Care's ability to deliver value to patients and payers while broadening access to cancer care innovation.

Thyme Care creates parent entity Thyme Companies to launch new oncology ventures

Alongside the Series E, Thyme Care is forming Thyme Companies, a new parent entity intended to build a portfolio of independent businesses addressing barriers in cancer care. Areas under active development include accelerating adoption of lower-cost biosimilars and improving clinical trial accrual, where slow enrollment restricts patient access to trials and delays drug development. The first new business under the Thyme Companies structure is expected to launch later this year.

Co-founder Robin Shah becomes executive chairman of the new parent company

Thyme Care co-founder Robin Shah will serve as executive chairman of Thyme Companies, leading strategy and development of new businesses alongside co-founder Bobby Green, M.D. Thyme Care continues to operate under CEO Brad Diephuis, M.D., with Green serving as president and chief medical officer. The company said Thyme Care's name, partnerships, and member experience remain unchanged as the anchor business within the new Thyme Companies structure.
