Berlin – – September 11, 2026 -- Timekettle unveiled an expanded AI cross-language communication portfolio at IFA 2026, spanning earbuds for one-on-one conversation to a meeting hub supporting up to 50 participants across five languages simultaneously.
Timekettle showcases W4 Plus earbuds for hands-free two-way translation
The company's Hall 3.2, Booth 163 display is led by W4 Plus, the newest entry in its W Series of AI Interpreter Earbuds. The device lets two people speaking different languages each wear one earbud and converse without passing a phone back and forth. Bone-conduction voice pickup and dual microphones are built to isolate the wearer's voice from ambient noise and pick up softer speech, while the earbuds also support Voice Calls, Listen & Play, and Multi-Media use cases beyond face-to-face talk.
W4 Plus adds four AI functions: AI Specialized Translation, AI Translation Refinement, AI Conversation Memory, and AI Live Summary. W4 Pro remains available in the lineup for professional face-to-face communication.
X1 Meeting hub connects up to 10 devices for five-language sessions
Launched in June 2026, X1 Meeting targets multilingual group settings such as international meetings, presentations, and cross-border training. A single hub can host up to 50 participants joining via smartphone or computer, with up to 10 X1 Meeting devices connecting within one session to support five languages at once. Meeting records and transcripts are stored locally on the device rather than in the cloud, a design intended to give organizations tighter control over sensitive meeting data.
Babel OS 3.0 now powers Live Translation on RayNeo iO Smart Glasses
Underpinning the hardware is Babel OS 3.0, Timekettle's proprietary end-cloud AI platform combining speech recognition, semantic understanding, neural machine translation, large language models, and real-time communication technology. In August 2026, Timekettle confirmed Babel OS 3.0 powers the Live Translation feature on RayNeo iO Smart Glasses, extending the platform beyond Timekettle-branded devices into third-party intelligent hardware.
Leal Tian, Founder and CEO of Timekettle, said a spontaneous one-on-one conversation and an international business meeting require fundamentally different interaction models, and the company's aim is to embed AI directly into communication workflows rather than build standalone translation tools.
IFA 2026 runs September 4–8 in Berlin, with live demonstrations of W4 Plus, W4 Pro, and X1 Meeting available at the booth throughout the show.
