Hospital and health system pharmacies must currently verify, document, and incorporate medication shipments into inventory while resolving compliance exceptions through manual processes that run alongside operational systems. The new integration allows pharmacy teams to verify serialized products, access traceability data, resolve verification exceptions, and complete compliance reporting within Omnicell's central pharmacy inventory management workflows as medications are received.

The DSCSA solution runs on TraceLink's Integrate-Once Agentic Business Network, which connects more than 315,000 authenticated entities across life sciences and healthcare and supports hundreds of billions of annual supply chain transactions. Extending this infrastructure into hospital pharmacy operations is expected to give healthcare organizations immediate access to accurate serialized medicine data exchanged across the broader supply chain, supporting faster product verification and targeted recall response.
