Tres Agaves Tequila Enters UK, Ireland Market Ahead of EU Rollout

St. Helena, Calif. – October 01, 2026 -- Tres Agaves Tequila launched in the UK and Ireland on October 1, marking the family-owned Mexican producer's first entry into European on-premise and independent retail channels. The rollout extends to Germany, Switzerland, the Nordics and Spain in the following months, with a formal European trade introduction scheduled at Bar Convent Berlin in mid-October.

Single-source Amatitán production anchors the brand's European pitch

Tres Agaves distills every batch from a single source in Amatitán, built on nearly two decades of direct grower relationships. The brand carries USDA and Mexican organic certification and NOM-registered production status, credentials it is now extending to European bartenders and independent retailers for the first time.

Trinchero executive cites category growth and price positioning

"Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirits categories in Europe, and bartenders want brands with real provenance," said Thomas Vogele, Vice President International Sales for Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits. He described Tres Agaves as an organic, single-source tequila priced for the back bar rather than the top shelf.

European tequila market projected to hit $2.49 billion by 2030

The category is forecast to grow at a 9.6% compound annual rate between 2025 and 2030, reaching $2.49 billion in revenue by the end of the decade. Tres Agaves has posted a 769% fiscal-year-to-date increase within Trinchero's Export Division, according to Circana data covering the 26 weeks ending August 3, 2026. The brand was also named to Shanken's Impact 2026 "Hot Prospects" list of fast-growing U.S. spirits brands, per Shanken News Daily's September 14, 2026 report.

Product lineup includes Blanco, Reposado and limited-allocation aged expressions

The UK and Ireland launch range includes Tres Agaves Blanco, bottled unaged immediately after distillation, and Reposado, aged nine months in Tennessee whiskey and bourbon barrels and named a Wine Enthusiast Top 100 Spirit of the Year. Añejo and Extra Añejo expressions are available in limited allocation for bars and retailers, alongside USDA-certified organic Margarita and Bloody Mary mixers and cocktail-ready agave nectar.

Blanco and Reposado ship in 700 ml bottles at £40-£45 retail

Blanco and Reposado are packaged in 700 ml bottles to meet European market specifications, with suggested retail pricing between £40 and £45. Tres Agaves is exported into the region by Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits.
