Trip.Biz Launches Agent ONE, Cutting Business Travel Booking Time 90%

Singapore – September 19, 2026 -- Trip.Biz, the business travel arm of Trip.com Group, unveiled Agent ONE, an AI suite that cuts average trip booking time from 45 minutes to 2 minutes and reduces approval wait times from over an hour to under 3 seconds.

The announcement came at Transform 2026, a half-day summit held at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, that drew 200 senior leaders from travel, procurement, finance and HR functions across multinational corporations.

Agent ONE deploys four specialized agents across the travel lifecycle

The suite comprises a Planning Agent that converts natural-language requests into policy-compliant itinerary recommendations, a Booking Agent that replaces traditional TMC booking flows with conversational, guided booking, an Approval Agent that auto-clears low-risk requests while routing exceptions to human review, and an Insight Agent that generates full travel-spend analysis reports -- including leakage patterns and savings opportunities -- in under 7 minutes, a task that previously took analysts up to a week.

CEO Tao Song frames Agent ONE as a purpose-built alternative to generic AI tools

"Unlike generic AI assistants, Trip.Biz positions Agent ONE as a purpose-built AI solution," Song said during his keynote "Building Trust through Simplicity with Agent ONE." He said the tool is designed to drive efficiency at each stage of the corporate travel process and lift adoption of managed booking platforms.

Trip.Biz reports 90% SLA compliance and 80%+ satisfaction across its served markets

General Manager for Southeast Asia Eugene Tan argued during his keynote "Rethinking APAC as ONE" that the region's reputation for complexity stems from fragmented service models rather than the market itself, citing three recurring gaps: inconsistent execution among legacy TMCs, limited support from digital-only platforms outside routine bookings, and unmonitored policy breakdowns in self-managed in-house programs. Trip.Biz said its single-platform model, spanning contracting, settlement, entities and supplier ecosystems, has produced a 90% service-level-agreement compliance rate and a satisfaction score above 80% across the markets it serves.

Product Director Terence Eng ties platform usability directly to leakage reduction

During his keynote "Closing Leakage with One Platform," Eng said a single platform alone does not eliminate off-platform bookings unless it pairs broad content with strong usability. "Even with one platform, leakage doesn't disappear automatically," Eng said, adding that both factors together are what ultimately raise adoption of online booking tools.

Agent ONE is now available globally across all Trip.Biz-supported markets.
