Hayward, Calif. – September 30, 2026 -- Ultra Clean Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: UCTT) appointed Alexander Davern to its Board of Directors effective September 28, 2026, adding more than three decades of industrial and technology leadership experience to its governance ranks.
Davern spent nearly 30 years at National Instruments, rising through CFO, COO and CEO roles
During his tenure at National Instruments, Davern helped scale the company's operations across more than 50 countries, gaining direct oversight of finance, operations and global expansion in a technology-manufacturing environment.
Davern holds active board seats at Cirrus Logic, Computer Modeling Group and Spectris
He currently serves as Audit Chair at Cirrus Logic, Compensation Chair at Computer Modeling Group, and as a director of Spectris. His board history spans more than 20 years across the U.S., Europe and Canada, including prior roles as Chairman of ESI Group, Lead Independent Director at FARO Technologies, and director positions at Helen of Troy and SigmaTel.
Ultra Clean CEO James Xiao ties the appointment to execution of the company's UCT 3.0 strategy

Davern holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a diploma in professional accounting from University College Dublin. Ultra Clean Holdings supplies critical subsystems, components and ultra-high purity cleaning and analytical services primarily to the semiconductor industry.
